On Monday, North Dakota State sophomore guard Elle Evans was named the co-Summit League Peak Performer of the Week. This is her first weekly honor of her collegiate career. Evans is joined by South Dakota State’s Brooklyn Meyer earning the nod.
Evans helped the Bison to a dominating 85-52 victory over St. Thomas this past week, elevating NDSU to 5-1 in Summit League play and 11-8 overall. She scored a career-high 29 points in the win over the Tommies, while also recording her third straight 20-plus point game.
In conference play, Evans leads the league in three-point percentage at 62.9 percent. She is also averaging 20.3 points per game while logging 28.8 minutes per contest.
Evans and the Bison will host South Dakota State at Scheels Center on Thursday at 7 p.m.
