(Eagan, MN) -- Vikings tight end TJ Hockenson finally had surgery on his right knee yesterday.

Hockenson tore his ACL and MCL during a loss against the Detroit Lions on Christmas Eve. The Vikings and Hockenson decided to let the MCL heal before having surgery on the ACL. The 26-year-old caught 95 passes for 960 yards and five touchdowns for Minnesota last season.

The Vikings have not give a timeline for his return.
