(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Timberwolves are keeping a veteran player around for a while longer.

ESPN reports Mike Conley agreed yesterday to a two-year, $21 million extension to stay with the T-Wolves. He was slated to become a free agent this summer.  Conley is shooting 44-percent on three-pointers this season and has a 59-percent effective field goal percentage, which are both career-highs.

Conley and the Wolves host the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.
