With a weekend sweep over Lincoln, the Fargo Force officially clinched the #1 seed in the USHL’s Western Conference playoffs.

The Force dominated Lincoln on Thursday jumping out to a 6-0 before Lincoln got on the scoreboard, en route to a 9-1. Six players scored for the Force in the win. Hampton Slukynsky stopped 32 of 33 he faced. The Game's 3 Stars were 1st Star Reid Daavettila, 2nd Star Gavin Morrissey and 3rd Star Lee Parks.

Fargo won 3-1 on Friday evening. 3 players scored in the win. Anton Castro stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced between the pipes. The Game's 3 Stars were 1st Star Michael Quinn, 2nd Star Lee Parks and 3rd Star Brasen Boser.

Saturday night the Force shutout the Stars 5-0. Fargo had 5 different goal scorers in the game. Hampton Slukynsky saved all 31 shots he faced, recording his league-leading 5th shutout of the season. The Game's 3 Stars were 1st Star Hampton Slukynsky, 2nd Star Mac Swanson and 3rd Star Leo Gruba.

The Force will be on the road this weekend with a three game series in Kearny, Nebraska against the Tri City Storm starting Friday night. The Force return home for a weekend series versus Youngstown on March 22nd.
