(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota Wild's playoff chances are getting slimmer after a 5-4 overtime loss to the St. Louis Blues at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday.
Brock Faber scored a game-tying goal with about five minutes left in regulation, but Brandon Saad knocked in the game-winner for St. Louis two minutes into the extra frame. Marco Rossi had two goals in the losing effort, and Marcus Johansson also lit the lamp. The Wild are in sixth place in the Central Division with 77 points and a 34-28-9 record.
They host the Sharks on Thursday.
