(Kansas City, MO) -- The Minnesota Twins missed out on an opening series sweep with an 11-0 loss to the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium.
Bailey Ober was terrible in his first start of the season, allowing eight runs on nine hits and recording just four outs, and he was charged with his first loss of the season. Minnesota had just four hits in the losing effort.
The 2-1 Twins send Louie Varland to the mound against the undefeated Brewers on Tuesday afternoon.
