The road to the NBA Finals continued on Monday.
The Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder both punched their tickets to the Western Conference semifinals. The Nuggets won a thriller 108-106 over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game Five at Ball Arena. Jamal Murray scored the game-winner with 3.6 seconds remaining to help the reigning champs advance. The Nuggets will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the next round.
Elsewhere, the Thunder completed a sweep of the Pelicans with a 97-89 victory in the Big Easy. In the East, the Boston Celtics beat the Miami Heat 102-88 to take a 3-1 series lead heading back to Beantown. he action continues on Tuesday with three more contests. The Knicks host the 76ers, the Magic visit the Cavaliers, and the Bucks entertain the Pacers.
