North Dakota State baseball senior right-handed pitcher, Joey Danielson, has been named the Summit League Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 28 - May 5.
He helped lead the Bison to a 3-1 record this past week, while posting a 2.25 earned run average (ERA) over 3 ⅔ innings of work. He also recorded three saves with three total strikeouts in the week. Danielson leads the Bison with a team and career-best 10 saves this season. His 10 saves are the most in the Summit League and fifth most in the country. Additionally, his save total is the third most in a single season in school history.
NDSU will return to the diamond on Friday when they visit South Dakota State. First pitch will be slated for 3 p.m.
