Clark struggles early, finishes strong in WNBA debut

(Uncasville, CT) — Indiana Fever No. 1 draft pick Caitlin Clark had an up-and-down WNBA debut.

The former Iowa superstar started slow in the Fever’s 92-71 loss at the Connecticut Sun but finished with a decent stat line. She had 20 points, three assists and two steals. Clark did not shoot well from the field, going 5-15, but did hit 4-11 three-pointers. She was 6-for-6 from the free throw line but had 10 turnovers.
