(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves ended their season by humiliating themselves in front of their home crowd.
Minnesota dropped Game Five of the Western Conference Finals 124-103 against the Dallas Mavericks at the Target Center. The Wolves trailed by as many as 36 points in the losing effort. Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns both finished with 28 points in the losing effort. Minnesota lost the series 4-1.
The Timberwolves now head into the offseason after their most successful season in 20 years.
The Boston Celtics will now battle the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals beginning with Game One on Thursday, June 6.
