(Sunrise, FL) — The Florida Panthers notched a 3-0 victory in Game One over the Edmonton Oilers to grab an early lead in the best-of-seven series on Saturday night. Carter Verhaeghe, Evan Rodrigues, and Eatu Luostrarinen all scored for the Panthers in the win. Florida is looking to win its first Cup, while the Oilers are going for their sixth.
The Panthers are hoping to defend home ice in the Stanley Cup Final on Monday night at 7 p.m.
