Twins blank Rockies

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins allowed just six hits during a 5-0 win over the Colorado Rockies at Target Field.

Minnesota scored a run apiece in the third and fourth innings before putting the game away with a three-run eighth. Chris Paddack earned his fifth win after striking out six over 6 1/3 scoreless innings, while Royce Lewis hit his fourth home run of the season.

The Twins have won their last two games, and they remain in third place in the AL Central at 35-31. Louie Varland starts for Minnesota against Colorado on Tuesday night beginning at 6:40 p.m.

In other team news, the Twins revealed their blue and yellow City Connect uniforms yesterday.
