A hit avalanche dooms RedHawks in loss to Monarchs

A trio of two run innings cost the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in a 7-4 loss to the Kansas City Monarchs on Tuesday evening. The Monarchs race dup 14 hits in the game.

Colten Davis gave up six runs over 3 ⅓ innings and was tagged with the loss. Kolby Kiser gave up only one run in 3 ⅔ innings out of the bullpen. Brenton Thiels and Jake Dykhoff each threw a shutout inning in the game.

Brendon Dadson drove in two runs while Marcus Chiu also added an RBI.

The RedHawks and Monarchs will continue their series on Wednesday night with first pitch scheduled for 7:02 p.m.
