Over the past four seasons, Wingenbach has been the head girls basketball coach at West Fargo Sheyenne. He led the program to three state tournament appearances in his four seasons with the Mustangs.

In a statement released by Concordia College coach Wagers said, “We’re extremely excited to welcome Kenyon to the Cobber Women’s Basketball family.” She continued, “He’s a tremendous teacher and a competitor by nature. Kenyon brings great energy, humility, and a strong ability to connect with student-athletes. He built a strong program at Sheyenne and has meaningful connections throughout North Dakota and Minnesota. We’re lucky to have him on board.”

Wingenbach commented on the opportunity to be a part of the Cobber Women’s Basketball program, “I’m excited to join the coaching staff at Concordia and grateful to Coach Wagers for the opportunity to contribute to a program with such strong tradition and values. I look forward to helping our student-athletes grow on and off the court.”
