Dakota Marker showdown to be nationally televised

SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – The Missouri Valley Football Conference announces the battle for the Dakota Marker between the defending FCS National Champion North Dakota State Bison and the South Dakota State Jackrabbits will be nationally televised for the second straight season.

The October 25 contest in Brookings will be on an ESPN network. Which channel the game will be on and a kickoff time will be announced at a later date. The conference will also share which one of the Bison’s Missouri Valley games will air on ESPN+ as part of the conference’s game of the week.

Last season the Bison won the Dakota Marker by beating SDSU 13 to 9 at the Fargodome on ESPN2.

The Jackrabbits game’ at Vermillion against their in-state rivals South Dakota on November 8 will also be on an ESPN network. In 2024 the Bison, Jackrabbits and Coyotes won a share of the Missouri Valley Football Conference title finishing 7 and 1 in conference play.
