On Thursday, the Minnesota Wild edged the Panthers in Sunrise, Fla. 3-2. The Wild outshot Florida 49-20 in the win.
Marcus Foligno, Ryan Hartman, and Joel Eriksson Ek each scored a goal in the game. Eriksson Ek scored the game-winner on a rebound at the 19:55 mark of the third period. Yakov Trenin, Brock Faber, and Jeff Petry tallied an assist apiece.
