Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks infield slugger Jose Sermon has been named the American Association of Professional Baseball’s Batter of the Week for the week of August 17-24.
In six games throughout the week he batted 11-for-23, good for a .478 batting average. Sermo racked up three home runs with 15 RBI along with scoring five runs. In 48 games with Farg0-Moorhead he has totaled 15 home runs while picking up 45 RBI and recording a .260 batting average.
Entering F-M’s home series against the Winnipeg Goldeyes on Tuesday, August 26 there are only seven games remaining in the regular season. Tuesday evenings first pitch is scheduled for 7:02 p.m.
