Two weeks ago former Fargo Davies defensive coordinator Eric Peterson left the program to become the new head coach at West Fargo High. Now, the Eagles have their new DC in former Packers head coach, Jay Gibson.
Following the 2025 season, Gibson resigned after 35 seasons as the head coach of the program. He led the West Fargo to 29 playoff appearances, 12 Eastern Dakota Conference titles, and six state championships. Additionally, he was named the North Dakota High School Coaches Association Coach of the Year five times.
