The Fargo Force swept the Omaha Lancers in a weekend series that featured two players scoring at least a hat trick for the Force.
On Friday October 25th, Fargo won 3-2 in overtime. Merrill Steenari scored all three Force goals. Alan Lendak saved 22 of the 24 shots he faced. The Game’s 3 Stars were 1st Star Merril Steenari, 2nd Star Sam Laurila and 3rd Star Finn McLaughlin.

On Saturday the Force didn’t need the extra period and tallied a 5-3 victory. Fargo trailed 3-2 after the second period. Jordan Ronn scored four goals while Luke Schelter also scored a goal. Alan Lendak saved 24 of the 27 shots he faced between the pipes. The Game’s 3 Stars were 1st Star Jordan Ronn, 2nd Star Luke Schelter and 3rd Star Reid Daavettila.

The Force return to the road this week starting on Halloween as they will visit Des Moines for two games on Thursday and Friday night. The Force will then head to Sioux City for a single game against the Musketeers that will wrap up the three game weekend.
