On Tuesday, March 3 the Summit League office announced four North Dakota State men’s basketball players have earned league honors while head coach Dave Richman was named Coach of the Year for the second time in his career (2014-15).
Trevian Carson was named to a trio of teams in the All-Summit League First Team, All-Newcomer Team, and All-Defensive Team. Damari Wheeler-Thomas found a spot on the All-Summit League Second Team. Andy Stefonowicz earned a league honorable mention. Noah Feddersen was voted the leagues Sixth Man of the Year.
Feddersen averaged 10.9 points per game while shooting 65 percent in league play and 44 percent from three-point range. He joins four other Bison to earn the Sixth Man of the Year honor in Mike Felt (2013), Dexter Werner (2015, 2017), Grant Nelson (2021), and Tajavis Miller (2025).
Carson filled the stat sheet averaging 11.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. He knocked down 49 percent of shots overall from the field while connecting on 40 percent of three-point shots and making 96 percent of his free throws.
Wheeler-Thomas led NDSU with 13.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in Summit League play.
Stefonowicz made 42 percent of his three-point shots while averaging 9.3 points, 5.1 assists, and 1.7 steals per game in conference play.
The No. 1 seeded Bison will play in the Summit League Tournament’s quarterfinals on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Sioux Falls at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.
