The Minnesota Twins ambushed the Boston Red Sox early in a 13-6 win on Monday night. The Twins scored 11 runs over the first two innings.
Bailey Ober tossed six innings with seven strikeouts while giving up four runs, earning the win. Eric Orze gave up two runs in one inning out of the bullpen. Garrett Acton tossed a pair of shutout innings to close the door.
Ryan Jeffers and Victor Caratini each hit a home run with three total RBI. Josh Bell drove in a pair of runs. Byron Buxton and Ryan Kreidler both hit a solo home run. Luke Keaschall and Brooks Lee tallied an RBI apiece. The Buxton home run was his 85th career homer at Target Field, setting the record for the most homers hit by a single player in the ballparks history.

Minnesota rose to 10-7 on the season.
