The Minnesota Wild defeated the Dallas Stars 4-2 in Game 5 of their Western Conference Quarterfinals series on Tuesday night.
Jesper Wallstedt saved 20 of the 22 shots he faced in net in the game.
Kirill Kaprizov led the Wild with one goal and two assists. Additionally, Kaprizov now holds the franchise record for playoff goals scored at 17. Matt Boldy added a goal and an assist while Michael McCarron and Mats Zuccarello each scored a goal. Ryan Hartman, Vladimir Tarasenko, Yakov Trenin, Quinn Hughes, and Jake Middleton chipped in an assist apiece.

Minnesota now leads the best-of-seven series 3-2.
The Wild will host Game 6 on Thursday night in St. Paul with the chance to win their first playoff series since 2015. The puck will drop at 6:30 p.m. with full game coverage available locally on FanDuel Sports Network North and nationally on TNT.
