Hughes scores in Wild debut win over Bruins

The Minnesota Wild defeated the Boston Bruins 6-2 on Sunday night. The Wild scored the game’s first five goals.

Kirill Kaprizov led the offensive attack with two goals and one assist. Ryan Hartman added a goal and two assists while Matt Boldy chipped in a goal and an assist. Quinn Hughes and Jared Spurgeon each scored a goal in the win.

Brock Faber recorded two assists. Nicolas Aube-Kubel, Joel Eriksson Ek, Marcus Johansson, and Daemon Hunt each tallied an assist.

Minnesota improved to a record of 19-9-5 on the season. The Wild will round out their homestand against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m. and game coverage available on FanDuel Sports Network North.
