Minnesota Wild star Kirill Kaprizov has been named the NHL’s First Star of the Week for the week of January 18-25.
In four games last week, he recorded nine total points on three goals and six assists. This is the fifth time in his career that Kaprizov has been named the NHL’s First Star of the Week.
Minnesota was 2-1-1 during the week. This season Kaprizov leads the team with 64 total points on 28 goals and 36 assists.
Kaprizov and the Wild will host the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. with game coverage available on FanDuel Sports Network North. The Wild are entering play with a record of 29-14-10 on the season.
