University of North Dakota men’s hockey assistant captain Jake Livanavage has been named the NCHC’s Defenseman of the Week.
This is the sixth NCHC Defenseman of the Week honor for Livanavage in his collegiate career. He anchored a penalty kill unit that killed 7-of-8 penalties against St. Cloud State, one of the nation’s top power play units. Livanavage scored in both wins over SCSU totaling five points on two goals and three assists.
North Dakota will host Omaha in a weekend series beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m.
