After trailing by seven points at the end of the first quarter the Minnesota Lynx would outscore the Golden State Valkyries by 36 points in the final three quarters en route to a 101-72 win in Game One of the WNBA Quarterfinals Series.
Napheesa Colliers powered Minnesota with 20 points and six rebounds. Natisha Hiedeman added 18 points off the bench. Kayla McBride (17), Jessica Shepard (12), and Courtney Williams (11) all chipped in double figure points.
The Lynx now lead the best-of-three series 1-0. Game 2 will be on Wednesday night in Golden State with tip-off scheduled for 9 p.m. and game coverage available on ESPN.
