The Minnesota Lynx dropped their final road game of the regular season to the Indiana Fever 83-72 on Tuesday evening. Head coach Cheryl Reeve sat Lynx star Napheesa Collier due to rest as the postseason approaches.
Jessica Shepard paced Minnesota with 16 points and seven rebounds. Maria Kliundikova added 12 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Alanna Smith tallied 11 points, four assists, three rebounds, and two blocks.
Minnesota fell to 33-10 with the loss. The Lynx will conclude the regular season on Thursday night when they host the Golden State Valkyries. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The WNBA postseason will begin on September 14.
