Lynx improve league-best record with win over Liberty

The Minnesota Lynx took down theNew York Liberty 83-71 on Sunday afternoon.

Kayla McBride led the offense with 18 points followed by 15 points and six rebounds from DiJonai Carrington. Courtney Williams added 14 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Natisha Hiedeman chipped in 13 points off the bench.

Minnesota improved to 27-5 on the season with the win.

The Lynx are now off until Saturday afternoon when they battle the Liberty again. The Saturday matchup will be at the Target Center with tip-off scheduled for 1 p.m. and game coverage available nationally on CBS.
