The Minnesota Lynx took down the Phoenix Mercury 79-66 on Wednesday afternoon. The Lynx outscored Phoenix by 11 points in both the first and third quarters.
Kayla McBride powered Minnesota with 18 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Courtney Williams chipped in 12 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Alanna Smith tallied 11 points and five rebounds while Napheesa Collier dropped 10 points, five rebounds, and three steals.
Minnesota improved to a WNBA-best 20-4 record on the season.
The WNBA is now entering the ALL-Star break this weekend. The All-Star Game will be played in Indianapolis on Saturday evening beginning at 7:30 p.m. with game coverage available on ABC.
