On Saturday night the Minnesota Lynx edged the Golden State Valkyries. Minnesota trailed by five points at the half before outscoring Golden State 30-16 in the third quarter.
Natisha Hiedeman led the Lynx with 24 points off the bench. Napheesa Collier added 20 points followed by Courtney Williams’ 14 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Jessica Shepard chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds.
The Lynx will wrap up their road trip on Tuesday night in Indiana against the Fever. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. with game coverage violable on ESPN.
