GRAND FORKS, N.D. – For the fifth time this season, second ranked North Dakota and eighth ranked Minnesota-Duluth will face off – and for the third time, it’s at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks.
The Fighting Hawks and Bulldogs will play in an NCHC semifinal Saturday.
North Dakota is coming off a 5-1 win against Omaha in game two of the NCHC quarterfinals, which solidified a sweep of the Mavericks after UND escaped with a 5-3 win on Friday night.
Minnesota-Duluth swept St. Cloud State University at home last weekend by one-point margins each night – 4-3 on Friday and 2-1 on Saturday
Saturday’s faceoff is at 6:07 p.m.
