Football season is officially here. Stats Perform dropped its annual FCS preseason poll with five Missouri Valley Football Conference teams being ranked within the top 25. Additionally, a pair of teams are receiving votes in the top 25.
Reigning National Champion North Dakota State is ranked No. 1 while also receiving all 54 first place votes in the poll. Other Missouri Valley teams ranked are No. 3 South Dakota State, No. 4 South Dakota, No. 6 Illinois State, and No. 20 Southern Illinois. The pair of teams receiving votes are North Dakota and Youngstown State.
