For the second consecutive week and third time this season, North Dakota State Junior Forward, Avery Koenen, has been named the Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week.
For the week of December 15-21, Koenen led the Bison to a pair of victories, helping the team extend its winning streak to eight games and improving the overall record to 10-2 on the season. In a pair of wins over Pepperdine and UTRGV she averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds between the two games. Additionally, Koenen added seven assists with three steals and one block.
NDSU will wrap up non-conference play in Fargo on Monday, December 29 against Saint Mary’s at 5 p.m. at Scheels Center.
