The Missouri Valley Football Conference has named Jackson Williams the league’s Special Teams Player of the Week.
The Sophomore return specialist had a 100-yard kick return for a touchdown against the Penguins. He is now averaging 31.3 per kick return this season alone with averaging 11.3 yards per punt return on the season.
The Omaha, Nebraska native, now has two of NDSU’s seven 100-plus yard kick return all-time.
The Bison edged out No. 18 Youngstown State 38-30 thanks in part to Williams’ special teams touchdown.
Top-ranked NDSU will now head to Grand Forks on Saturday to battle No. 13 North Dakota.
