SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The University of North Dakota men’s basketball team has defeated the University of St. Thomas 67-66 in the Summit League semifinals at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls.
The two teams kept Saturday’s semifinals close throughout, with neither team going ahead by more than 10 points.
North Dakota was led by Greyson Uelman, who tallied 28 points on 9-for-11 shooting. Eli King added 17 points and Garrett Anderson 11.
The Fighting Hawks advance to the Summit League championship against NDSU tomorrow (Sunday). Tipoff is at 8 p.m. UND is yet to have beaten the Bison yet this season — falling 96-63 in their last matchup one week ago at the SHAC in Fargo.
