(Eagan, MN) — The Vikings will get to see J.J. McCarthy in game action later this week. Head coach Kevin O’Connell announced at a Monday press conference that McCarthy will start Saturday’s preseason game against the Houston Texans.

McCarthy suffered a season-ending knee injury during last year’s preseason opener. Saturday’s game at US Bank Stadium will get underway at 3:00 p.m.
