Pitching gem leads RedHawks to series opening win over Monarchs

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks rode a two-hit shutout to a 1-0 West Division Semifinals Game One win over the Kansas City Monarchs on Wednesday night.

Kyle Krigger was stellar, striking out five batters over seven scoreless innings while eventually picking up the win. Parker Harm tossed a scoreless inning in relief while Garrett Alexander picked up the save with a shutout ninth inning.

Lamar Sparks drove in the game’s only run on a seventh inning RBI single.

Fargo-Moorhead now leads the best-of-three West Division Semifinals series 1-0.
