The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks dropped another matchup to the Kansas City Monarchs 3-2 on Wednesday evening. The Monarchs scored all three runs in the second inning with the RedHawks scoring both runs in the fifth inning.
Greg Minier gave up all three runs over seven innings with six strikeouts eventually being tagged with the loss. Naswell Paulino recorded an out followed by Garrett Alexander tossing the final 1 ⅔ innings.
Peter Brookshaw provided the offense with a two-run homer in the loss.
The RedHawks and Monarchs will wrap up their four-game series on Thursday night with first pitch scheduled for 7:02 p.m.
