RedHawks fall short against Monarchs

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks fell short against the Kansas City Monarchs 5-4 on Wednesday afternoon.

Orlando Rodriguez gave up four runs over five innings in a no-decision. Colten Davis was tagged with the loss after giving up one run over two innings out of the bullpen. Jake Dykhoff tossed a scoreless inning.

Juan Fernandez hit a home run and drove in a pair of runs. Robert Perez Jr. hit a solo home run while Lamar Sparks added an RBI.

The RedHawks and Monarchs will wrap up their series on Thursday night with first pitch slated for 6:35 p.m.
