The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks took down the Kansas City Monarchs 14-8 on Monday night. The RedHawks scored six runs in the third and five runs in the seventh inning.
Kyle Krigger gave up two runs over five innings with six strikeouts picking up the win. The F-M bullpen gave up six runs over the final four innings with only two of the runs being earned.
Robert Perez Jr. led the offensive attack with four RBI. Juan Fernandez and Peter Brookshaw drove in three runs apiece. Brendon Dadson, Dillon Thomas, Marcus Chiu, and Alexfri Planez each drove in a run in the win.
The RedHawks and Monarchs will continue their series on Tuesday evening with first pitch scheduled for 7:02 p.m.
