The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks crushed the Gary SouthShore RailCats 8-0 on Tuesday evening.
Kyle Krigger struck out nine batters over 7 ⅓ scoreless innings, earning the win. Colten Davis recorded two outs. Parker Harm shut the door with a scoreless ninth inning.
Michael Hallquist drove in three runs. Jose Sermo picked up two RBI. Lamar Sparks hit a solo home run while Eric Filia and Erik Ostberg added an RBI apiece.
The RedHawks and RailCats will continue their series on Wednesday evening with first pitch scheduled for 7:02 p.m.
