RedHawks swept in Sioux Falls

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks were swept out of Sioux Falls with a 3-0 loss to the Canaries on Sunday.

Orlando Rodriguez gave up three runs over six innings, eventually being tagged with the loss. Garrett Alexander threw two scoreless innings in relief.

Sioux Falls’ Josh Rehwaldt hit the game deciding three-run homer in the fifth inning.

Fargo-Moorhead only recorded three hits, but did end up with seven walks at the plate. They would strand nine runners on base in the game.

The RedHawks will now return home to Newman Outdoor Field for a four game series to battle the Milwaukee Milkmen beginning Monday evening at 7:02 p.m.
