The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks took down the Monarchs 8-3 in Kansas City on Tuesday night
.Greg Minier struck out seven batters over 5 ⅓ innings while given gup three runs en route to earning the victory. Parker Harm struck out three batters over 1 ⅔ innings in relief. Naswell Paulino and Kyle Johnston each tossed a shutout inning out of the bullpen.
Juan Fernandez led the offensive attack with three RBI. Peter Brookshaw hit a two-run homer followed by a pair of RBIs from Alexfri Planez. Lamar Sparks also drove in a run in the win.
The RedHawks and Monarchs will continue their series on Wednesday afternoon with first pitch slated for 11:05 a.m.
