The Minnesota Twins dropped their series finale to the Detroit Tigers 11-6 in 12 innings. Minnesota overcame a four run deficit to force extra innings. Detroit broke the game open in the 12th inning with five runs.
Dean Kremer gave up four runs over five innings in a no-decision. Kody Funderburk surrendered one run over 1 2/3 innings out of the bullpen. Travis Adams recorded one out while Jeff Hoffman threw a shutout inning. Yoendrys Gomez tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings while Taylor Rogers recorded a pair of outs. Tommy Nance surrendered five runs (four earned) over 1 ⅓ innings and was tagged with the loss.
Royce Lewis paced the offense with two RBI. Luke Keaschall, Ryan Jeffers, Trevor Larnach, and Victor Caratini each picked up an RBI.
