The Minnesota Twins were crushed by the A’s 14-3 in their series finale. Minnesota won three of the four games in the series.
Twins pitching gave up four home runs in the loss. David Festa gave up eight runs over 3 ⅔ innings while being tagged with the loss. Jorge Alcala also struggled only recording one out while giving up three runs out of the bullpen. Kody Funderburk gave up one run in two innings of relief, with position player Jonah Bride giving up two runs over the final two innings on the mound.
Matt Wallner hit a solo home run. Brooks Lee and Ty France each also drove in a run.
The Twins will now welcome the Toronto Blue Jays to Target Field for a weekend series beginning on Friday night at 7:10 p.m. Bailey Ober is scheduled to get the nod for Minnesota.
