Bailey Ober gave up seven runs over 4 ⅔ innings and was tagged with the loss. The bullpen gave up nine runs over 4 ⅓ innings.
Carlos Correa, Willie Castro, and Brooks Lee each drove in a run in the loss.
The Twins are now off to Houston for a weekend series against the Astros beginning on Friday night at 7:10 p.m. Minnesota will send Chris Paddack to the mound while Houston counters with Colton Gordon.
