Twins drop series rubber match to Diamondbacks

The Minnesota Twins dropped their series rubber match to the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-4 on Sunday afternoon.

Bailey Ober gave up four runs over six innings and was tagged with the loss. Genesis Cabrera gave up one run over ⅔ of an inning. Michael Tonkin surrendered one run over 1 ⅓ innings. Thomas Hatch tossed a scoreless inning.

Matt Wallner hit a solo home run, his 22nd of the season. Mickey Gasper also hit a solo homer, his second of the season. Edouard Julien added an RBI.

The Twins fell to a record of 65-84. Minnesota will now welcome the New York Yankees to Target Field for a three game series beginning on Monday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. Simeon Woods Richardson is slated to be on the mound for Minnesota.
