James Outman hit a solo home run, his fourth of the season. Byron Buxton hit a two-run home run, his 31st homer of the season.
The Twins have an off day on Thursday before they begin a 10-game homestand with a three-game weekend series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Friday evening’s first pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. Pablo Lopez is slated to be on the bump for Minnesota.
