The Minnesota Twins dropped their series finale to the Chicago Cubs 8-1.
Chris Paddack gave up six runs over five innings and was tagged with the loss. Anthony Miniewicz and Justin Topa tossed two innings apiece out of the bullpen.
Kody Clemens hit a solo home run to drive in Minnesota’s lone run.
The Twins will now welcome the Pittsburgh Pirates to Target Field for the final series of the first half of the regular season. Joe Ryan (All-Star) will be on the mound for Minnesota while Paul Skenes (All-Star) counters for Pittsburgh. First pitch is scheduled for Friday evening at 7:10 p.m.
