The Minnesota Twins will have their highest first-round pick in almost a decade.
The Twins dropped one spot in MLB’s draft lottery on Tuesday, and they will have the third overall pick in the 2026 draft. Minnesota will pick after both the White Sox and the Rays. The club hasn’t selected this high since getting the first overall pick in 2017, which they used to select current infielder Royce Lewis.
The Twins will report to Spring Training in mid-February. Their first Spring Training game will be on February 20 in Fort Myer, Fla. against the University of Minnesota.
